Author Guidelines

The author guidelines for the International Journal of Science, Technology and Engineering (IJSTE) are designed to ensure the clarity, consistency, and academic rigor of submitted manuscripts, facilitating the effective communication of research findings within the global scientific community. The following is the basic outline of the manuscript with the corresponding journal template.

Article Title

The title should be concise and descriptive, reflecting the main topic and findings of the research. Avoid abbreviations or technical jargon that may not be widely understood.

Author Information

List all authors' full names, institutional affiliations, and corresponding addresses. For multiple authors from different institutions, use superscript numbers to link each author to their respective institution.

Dates

Include the dates of receipt, revision, and acceptance of the manuscript. This information is typically added by the editorial office during the publication process.

Abstract

The abstract should provide a brief summary of the entire article, including the context, purpose, methods, key findings, and conclusions. It should be between 150 to 250 words and written in clear, accessible language.

Keywords may be included at the end of the abstract to facilitate discoverability.

Keywords

Include 3 to 5 keywords that accurately reflect the content of your article. These should be specific and relevant to the main topics discussed in the manuscript.

Introduction

The introduction should engage readers by providing the necessary background information, context, and rationale for the study. Clearly state the research problem or question, solution, differentiations and benefits of the readers or future researchers and outline the objectives of the study. Mention related literature to support the identification of research gaps or problems. Use APA style for citations and references.

Methods

Detail the research design, participant characteristics, sampling methods, materials or instruments used, and the step-by-step procedures followed. Include descriptions of the variables investigated, data collection methods, and statistical or analytical methods employed.

Discuss any ethical considerations, including Ethics Board approval, participant consent, and confidentiality. Address potential biases and quality control measures. Conclude this section by acknowledging any limitations of the methodology.

Results and Discussions

Present the findings of the study clearly and objectively. Use tables, figures, or graphs where appropriate to enhance clarity. Avoid interpretation or discussion of the results in this section. It also interpret the results, explaining their significance and how they relate to the research questions or objectives. Compare your findings with those from previous studies, and discuss the implications of your research.

Conclusions and Future Works

Summarize the main findings and discuss their implications for the field. Suggest directions for future research, indicating any unanswered questions or potential areas for further exploration.

Acknowledgment

Use this section to thank individuals or organizations that provided support, guidance, or resources during the research and writing process.

References

List all sources cited in your article following the APA 7th edition citation style. Ensure that all in-text citations correspond to a full reference in this section.
